Board of Directors

Olga Blyweiss

Ms. Blyweiss studied Accounting and Human Resource Management at Drexel University and then went on to receive a master’s degree in Taxation from Villanova University in 2003. Ms. Blyweiss is currently a tax partner at Mazars USA. She services clients in the real estate, private equity, and professional service markets. She has over 20 years of experience providing tax compliance and consulting services, primarily consisting of pass-through entities and closely-held family owned businesses.

Robert Catelli

Mr. Catelli received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Villanova School of Business in 1998, and he has since been working in the securities and wealth management profession. He is currently First Vice President, Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services and is responsible for a portfolio in excess of $500 million.

 

While at Villanova, he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He is a member of the Union League of Philadelphia, and is active in a number of community organizations, including Pope and Young Club, and Kilgore’s Kids. An avid VU sports fan, he regularly attends VU away games all over the country.

Joe Cervini

Mr. Cervini received a Bachelor of Science in Business administration from Villanova's College of Commerce and Finance in 1971. He went on to have a long and successful career in the FBI. He is currently an Associate in the Technical Services Division of AT&T.

Ken Christovich

Mr. Kenneth (Ken) G. Christovich is a 1976 graduate of the Villanova School of Business (VSB); B.S. (Magna Cum Laude) Business Administration/Marketing. He was Class Valedictorian, recipient of the Dean’s Key Award, Department Chairman’s Key Award and inductee to the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society and “Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities.”

 

Upon graduation Mr. Christovich joined SKF, the world’s largest manufacturer of anti-friction bearings and related products.  He was Marketing Manager at SKF’s Roller Bearings Division until 1986, and then managed various profit centers within the Machinery Business Unit until retiring from SKF in October, 1999.  His second career included the Telecommunications Industry where he worked in Contract Services and Vendor Contract Assurance for a major Home Improvement retailer, and he even managed Guest Services for a golf course.  Ken's been both an active participant and contributor  for over 25 years

Brendan Cox

Mr. Cox graduated from Villanova University in 1992 with a BS in Accounting and received his MBA from the University of Notre Dame in consulting. Boasting an extensive accountancy background, he currently works as a tax partner at Ernst & Young.

Joseph Hare

Mr. Hare received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Villanova University in 1972 and, following Active Duty in the US Navy, a Juris Doctor Degree from Villanova School of Law. Mr. Hare retired from the Navy as a Rear Admiral in 2005.  He is currently the Vice President for Shipyard Operations at Rhoads Industries, Inc. at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.   

Michael Helmick

Mr. Helmick graduated from Villanova University School of Business in 1964. After receiving his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh in 1965, he joined Arthur Young & Company, where he worked in public accounting as both an auditor and a partner. In 1986, he joined First Manhattan Company, where he served as a partner until 2006 and Managing Director until 2010.

Stacy Hudgins

Mr. Hudgins graduated from Radford University in 1995 with Bachelor's Degrees in Chemistry and Psychology. He went on to receive his Master of Science in Anatomy from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 1997, and an MBA in Finance, Leadership, and Systems thinking from Villanova in 2006. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy in Quantitative Systems Pharmacology from Drexel University. Mr. Hudgins is a business transformation leader with extensive background in healthcare and life sciences Fortune 500 companies. He currently serves as Process Lead in Clinical Pharmacology and Transitional Development for CSL Behring, as well as Adjunct Faculty at Villanova and Rutgers Universities.

Deanna Huntowski

Ms. Huntkowski received her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 2006 from Villanova University. In 2017, she earned her Masters in Taxation also from Villanova University. Her tax career has been spent at both public and private companies working on a variety of tax focuses, mostly corporate, domestic, foreign, and transfer pricing. She currently is a CPA with Gunnip & Company CPAs in Wilmington, Delaware as a Tax Supervisor. Ms. Huntkowskiis also President of the Villanova Club of Delaware. 

Roger Kent

Mr. Kent received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance in 1990 from Villanova University.  He is currently Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill Lynch with CFP, CRPC, and CPFA certifications.

Pam Laudadio

​Ms. Laudadio received her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Villanova University in 1980. While at Villanova, she was a member of the Varsity Women's Softball team and Pi Beta Delta Sorority. She is an experienced insurance professional, and a graduate of the American College, with CLU, ChFC , and RICP certifications in Insurance and Estate Planning.

Hilary Mainka

​Ms. Mainka completed the MBA degree program at Villanova University in 2019, having received her BA in Economics from Bucknell University in 2002.  After 15 years with Ernst and Young, she is now a Senior Analyst in Transfer Pricing with the commercial Real Estate and Investment firm of CB Richard Ellis Group Inc. in Philadelphia.

 

Kevin Scanlon

Mr. Scanlon received his BA Degree from Villanova University in 1981. He is President of SLT (Surgical Laser Technologies), formerly PhotoMedex Surgical, a company he has been involved with for almost 25 years. Additionally, Mr. Scanlon is consulting with an exciting new software platform which interacts with a hospital EMR (Electronic Medical Record) called Medtel.  The program is used to chart the entire episode of surgical care, putting all of the care givers and stakeholders on the same page and at the same time,  from the moment the surgeon sits down with their patient to schedule surgery through the time patient is discharged.

Steven Szaroleta

Mr. Szaroleta graduated from Villanova University in 2005 with a B.S in Accounting. In 2010, he earned his MBA in International Business from the University of Delaware.  He currently works at FREEH Group International Solutions, performing complex international investigations, regulatory monitoring, compliance assessments and audits, and forensic accounting reviews.  His expertise is in bank secrecy/anti-money laundering regulations as well as the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act . 

 

He formerly worked as a manager at Grant Thornton in Philadelphia, PA, where he advised financial institutions on anti-money laundering compliance.  His written publications include subjects such as foreign correspondent banking and virtual currency risks. 

Bob Viola

Robert Viola received a B.S. in History and Education from Villanova University in 1967.  As the President of Megro Benefits Company, Bob specializes in advising employers on group health, life and disability benefit funding methods, plan design, cost containment, flexible benefits, and state and federal compliance issues.

 

Bob began his career in the Accident & Health division of CNA in Philadelphia and then moved to Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company in their personal life division. He started his agency's group division in 1982 and formed The Megro Benefits Company in 1987. Bob holds a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in addition to an RHU & REBS. 

Dr. Alfred Wolanin

Dr. Wolanin graduated from Villanova University in 1973. He is President of Suburban Oral Surgery, the Campus Chief at Lankenau Medical Center, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery & Dentistry, and System Chief of Main Line Health for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery & Dentistry.

Fred graduated from Villanova University in 1973 with a BS in biology.   During his time at Villanova, Fred was a member of the Villanova Singers, Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, and an elected member to the academic policy committee from the college of arts and sciences.  

After graduating from Villanova, Fred attended Temple University School of Dentistry followed by a residency at Temple University Hospital in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Fred also served his country and was on active duty in the U.S. Navy for six years. He was recalled to Operation Desert Storm, Saudi Arabia in 1991 and retired in the rank of Captain, DC, USNR0.

 

Fred is active in the Boy Scouts of America in Radnor Township and a class representative at Villanova for alumni reunions.  Fred lives in Newtown Square, PA with his wife Mary Beth and four children, one of whom is a Villanova graduate.
